Tessa's godfather, Don Federico, is robbed of taxes owed to Montoya by three arrogant young bandits - Isabelle and Teo Selvera, children of a don, and Ramon (Tessa's childhood friend from "Vengeance").

Don Selvera blames Montoya for the lack of protection from the robbers, unaware they are his own children. He aims to have the Colonel replaced as Military Governor.

Don Federico is killed by Teo during a robbery at Tessa's hacienda. Isabelle and Ramon are horrified, but caught by the need to escape, agree to one more robbery.

Tessa and Montoya join forces, Tessa acting as bait to capture the robbers. Ramon stops Teo from kidnapping Tessa and is captured as the others flee.

Tessa recognizes Isabelle's voice as a bandit. The Queen follows Isabelle to the hideout, where she's gone to get the loot so she and Teo can leave. Isabelle doesn't want to leave Ramon, but Teo insists.  Grisham arrives and the Queen fights him as Isabelle escapes. She catches up with Isabelle and convinces her to confess to Montoya to save Ramon.

Montoya gleefully tells Don Selvera and forces the Don into a bargain to save his children. Ramon alone will die for the crimes of the gang.

Can Tessa save Ramon? Will there be justice for the death of her godfather?
