Membership in the VPFC includes 4 newsletters (with colour cover) per year, and new members receive a welcome packet including a bio, filmography, membership card and photo. We also hold members only parties at conventions - which Valentine often attends if he is at the convention, though his attendance is not guaranteed.
Membership costs $18 in the US, $20 in Canada and $23 elsewhere. Family membership is available for $2 extra (includes 2 different photos, 2 membership cards, and admission for all family members to parties). You can pay online using PayPal, or by check or money order. To pay in sterling or Euros contact us to get the current exchange rate. Please contact Gail Allan if you have any questions.
Note: Renewing members usually receive a fridge magnet, but anyone who hasn't had the new welcome packet will get that instead (if you'd rather get the fridge magnet, let Gail know when you renew).
Back issues of the newsletter are available for $4 each plus postage, available to non-members as well as members. Coming soon, selected excerpts from back issues will be available here on the VPFC website.
The VPFC newsletter, The Actor's Palette, is always looking for submissions from our members, such as reviews of Valentine's work, con reports, original drawings and photos of Valentine, or anything that you think other members would like to see. For more information, e-mail newsletter editor Gail Allan, or you can send submissions via e-mail:
Events editor, Peggy Landon: Con reports, Valentine sightings.
Any other written submissions via e-mail, such as reviews, member bios, should be sent direct to the editor.
Written submissions can also be accepted at the club PO box, but we prefer them via e-mail if possible.
Photos and artwork should be sent by mail if possible, to:
Please put your name on the back of

Pictures on a web page are generally not good enough to print. Confused? E-mail

Our mailing list is located at Yahoo. To subscribe, go to the web page at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vpfc-l .
The mailing list is associated with the fan club but you do not need to be a member of the fan club to join it. Most members are on the list, however. Confused? Don't be! The list is just a group of us who enjoy Mr. Pelka's work. For more info e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
There is also an announcement list for members only. If you think you should be on that list and aren't, please contact club president Gail Allan at email@example.com and she will look into it for you.
In Europe you can also write to:
Please include an SASE when requesting return information by mail.
You can send letters to Valentine through the US club address only. Please be aware that they will be screened by Valentine's personal assistant for offensive content before being sent to him. Please don't send mail for Valentine to the European club address as this will result in a delay as your letter will have to be forwarded to the US for screening.
